Terms of service

The agreement between WagTab and the grooming shops that use it, in plain words.

Last updated October 27, 2026

These terms are between WagTab LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“WagTab”, “we”), and the business that signs up for WagTab (“you”, “your shop”). By signing up or using WagTab, you agree to them and to the Privacy policy.

1. What WagTab is

WagTab is front-desk software for grooming businesses. It runs in a web browser. Each shop gets its own copy at its own address (yourshop.wagtab.com), with its own database.

2. Your account

  • The person who signs up is the shop’s owner and is responsible for the account.
  • The owner decides who else gets a login and what job each person has.
  • Keep passwords and sign-in codes private. Tell us right away at hello@wagtab.com if you think someone got into your account.
  • The shop’s web address can’t be changed after sign-up.

3. One plan per location

One plan covers one business at one sign-in address. Staff, groomers, vans, calendars, clients and pets are unlimited within it. A salon and its vans are one shop. A second location with its own address is a second shop, with its own plan.

4. Free setup

  • Your first 30 days are free, to set up and practice. No card is needed.
  • Your booking page and the emails to your clients turn on when you go live.
  • If you haven’t gone live by the end of the 30 days, the shop turns read-only. You can still see and download everything, and going live opens it again.
  • Founding shops also accept a one-page founding agreement in Settings, under Billing. Where it differs from these terms, the founding agreement wins.

5. Price and billing

  • WagTab costs $40 a month or $300 a year per location, for every feature.
  • Billing starts only when the owner taps Go live in Settings, under Billing, and chooses monthly or yearly. Importing clients or booking visits never starts it.
  • If free setup days are left when you go live, your first charge comes when they run out. We email you 7 days and 1 day before it.
  • Payments go through Stripe and renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel.
  • Prices don’t include any sales tax that applies.
  • WagTab takes no cut of your card sales. Card payments go through your own Stripe or Square account, under its own terms and fees. Your phone company and WhatsApp also charge under their own terms.
  • If we ever change the price, we’ll email the owner at least 30 days before. The new price starts at your next renewal after that.

6. Cancelling

  • Cancel any time in Settings, under Billing. There’s no contract and no setup fee.
  • Your plan keeps working to the end of what you’ve paid for, monthly or yearly, and isn’t renewed.
  • There are no partial refunds.
  • Until that date you can take the cancellation back.
  • After that date the shop is read-only. You can still sign in, see everything and download it.

7. If a payment fails

  • Your shop keeps working for 14 days, and we email the owner during them.
  • After that the shop is read-only: you can still sign in and see everything, and downloads keep working.
  • Paying opens it again.

8. Your records

  • Your shop’s records belong to your shop. We hold them only to run WagTab for you, as described in the Privacy policy.
  • You can download any list for Excel, or a full copy of your records with every photo, any day, paid or not.
  • We don’t delete a stopped shop’s records without asking the owner first.
  • You are responsible for what you put in WagTab, and for having your clients’ permission to keep their details and to text or email them, including marketing emails.

9. How you may use it

Use WagTab only for your own grooming business. Don’t:

  • use it to send spam;
  • break the law or anyone’s rights;
  • try to get into another shop’s data;
  • overload or attack the service;
  • copy or resell the software.

We may suspend a shop that does, and we’ll tell the owner why.

10. Other services you connect

Some parts of WagTab work with services you choose to use: your Stripe or Square account for card payments, your phone or WhatsApp for texts, and your own Claude or ChatGPT account if an owner or manager connects one. Each is between you and that company, under its own terms. A change asked for through Claude or ChatGPT is shown first and waits for a yes, and payments, refunds and deletes never go through them.

11. Our side

  • We work to keep WagTab running, safe and backed up. Still, it’s provided “as is”: we can’t promise it will never have an error or an outage.
  • WagTab helps you keep records and add things up. It doesn’t file taxes, run payroll, or give legal or tax advice. You and your accountant are responsible for your filings.
  • To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what your shop paid us in the 12 months before it, and we aren’t responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits.

12. Support

  • Email hello@wagtab.com. We reply within one business day, and the same day for anything stopping your shop.
  • WagTab support sign-in. If you ask us for help, someone on our team may sign in to your shop as “WagTab support” for up to an hour, only to do what you asked. Every visit and change is logged with the reason, the owner gets an email and a notice on Today, and support can’t touch passwords, logins, card payouts, your plan or downloads. The owner can turn it off in Settings, under Security & data.

13. If WagTab ever closes

We’ll email every owner at least 60 days before, and you’ll be able to download your records until it does.

14. Changes to these terms

  • If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email shop owners at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
  • Using WagTab after that date means you accept the new terms.
  • If you don’t, you can cancel under section 6.

15. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
